It starts with passion...

You love small children and teach them with passion, but when you walk into your classroom or you're managing them at home, you're asking, How do I...

...keep them busy all day long?

...ensure their learning and development is on track?

..help them have fun and enjoy childhood?

 Young Woman Contemplating

This thought pops into your mind:

Am I really cut out for this?

You wonder if you're confident enough and have what it takes to truly impact the lives of these little humans. You also long to be a respected teacher and/or parent, and you want to make sure you are helping your children grow and flourish.

Helping children grow and develop

is hard work...

I'm Rhonda Clark, Early Childhood Education Expert, and my message to you is this:

You are better at this than you realize.

I've talked to hundreds of people needing advice, tips, information and resources.  As an instructional strategies and educational leadership coach, I've learned how to engage children in learning through play. My experience in building state and national level model classrooms has given me the opportunity to coach teachers and leaders about early childhood development while giving them the tools needed to make learning fun for children.  Children engaged in constructive meaningful play have less behavior issues.

Life becomes easier when you have the tools and activities you need for everyone to be happy!

Early Childhood Education Specialist & Leadership Coach

Author|Speaker, Wife, Mom, Nana, Cook, Cyclist, and several other important jobs that require the attention of children.

Rhonda began teaching in a small part day preschool program where she served 40 children and their families. As times changed, she realized that more Moms were going to work and they needed not just preschool, but also childcare. In 1990 Rhonda opened up a center that was licensed to serve  58 children, which quickly grew to 98 children.  She needed to step out of the classroom and be the instructional leader for a whole program.

Rhonda's worked paid off when her center was chosen as a model classroom for the state of IL ,and trainings were held for other teachers to come and learn tips and techniques to support children’s learning development. She found herself conducting training around the state to teachers and leaders on early childhood development.

Rhonda moved from working at the state level and on to a national level position where she had the opportunity to see and work with multiple states experiencing the same struggles.  She saw teachers and parents, who were passionate about early childhood and needed assistance to make the job easier.

In 2019, Rhonda founded Intentional Beginnings.  This is her way of making life easier and productive for teachers and parents- through fun learning activities and tools to support developmental goals. Rhonda can be seen on the Intentional Beginnings You Tube channel, where she connects teachers and families with the resources they need to help their children thrive in all areas of their lives.
